RE-ZIP is working hard to challenge our throw-away culture and has developed a cycle where packaging is reused many times. When we reuse, we expand the lifetime of the packaging, and we save the resources that would have gone into producing something new.
It is both easy to offer RE-ZIP on your ShopWired webshop and it does not cost extra. To offer RE-ZIP you simply have to use the Basket Rules to create the option. ShopWired is happy to help you with any questions regarding the webshop setup. RE-ZIP has a very transparent price structure where you only pay for the packaging you order, there is no start-up fee, and it is even possible to order in small quantities.
Reusing can be good for business
RE-ZIP's reusable packaging can benefit both the environment AND your business as it reduces packaging costs and increases customer loyalty while reducing CO2 emissions.
- RE-ZIP benefits the environment by providing a system that reuses packaging. When packaging is reused, resources to produce new packaging are saved, resulting in less CO2 emissions. A RE-ZIP only has to be reused once before it saves CO2 compared to using single use packaging.
- RE-ZIP reduces packaging costs: you buy the packaging for 15 DKK and your customers pay 15 DKK when choosing RE-ZIP.
- RE-ZIP increases customer loyalty: When customers return the packaging, they receive a reward for returning the packaging. The reward will be a voucher for your shop. The voucher will entice the customer to return to your website. You decide the value and conditions of the voucher.
RE-ZIP makes a real difference
The RE-ZIP packaging saves CO2 as soon as it used more than once compared to single-use packaging. When the packaging has circulated 4 times the savings are approximately 60 % and by 10 circulations the savings are up to 80 %.
Just like bottles can be reused because of the Danish bottle return system, RE-ZIP's circular packaging can similarly be reused several times, with customers returning them at a RE-ZIP Drop Point found through the RE-ZIP app.
It works like this:
- The webshop purchases RE-ZIP for 15 DKK a pcs.

The customer chooses RE-ZIP in the cart and pays 15 DKK for it
- It doesn't require any integration with your shop system, RE-ZIP can be added via Basket Rules.
- After having received the order, the customer folds the packaging and returns it at a Drop Point.
- At the Drop Point the customer scans the QR code with the RE-ZIP app to get a reward for returning. The reward is a voucher for your webshop.
- The packaging is returned to a national RE-ZIP hub that will handle the cleaning and quality assessment before the next circulation.
